Skilled General Laborer

Job Description

DPR Construction is looking for dependable, hardworking Skilled Laborers to support our commercial construction projects in Colorado(Denver and Colorado Springs) This is a great opportunity for someone with previous commercial construction experience who takes pride in doing quality work, working safely, and being a reliable team member.

This role is focused on general labor support, housekeeping, material handling, and jobsite maintenance. Previous commercial construction experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping and cleanup tasks on active jobsites.
• Load and unload materials.
• Carry lumber and other materials to and from storage areas as directed.
• Receive materials from vendors.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with general labor tasks as needed to support the field team.
• Operate basic hand tools and common power tools as directed.
• Support equipment operation when needed and when qualified.
• Work safely at all times. Safety is required and non-negotiable.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to help maintain production and project flow.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial construction experience is required.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Experience operating equipment is a plus.
• Ability to use basic tools and perform general labor tasks safely.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more as needed.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including in heights, dust, fumes, and loud jobsite conditions.

Anticipated starting pay range:

$25.00- $29.00
