Our client is seeking an experienced Equipment Mechanic to support day-to-day repairs, diagnostics, and full-machine maintenance on a wide range of equipment. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical instincts, hands-on repair experience, and the ability to troubleshoot independently. You"ll play a key part in keeping equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently for their customers.
Job Responsibilities -
- Diagnose equipment issues using proper tools, mechanical knowledge, and practical troubleshooting methods.
- Perform complete repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and related components.
- Safely operate power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop tools throughout all repair tasks.
- Review and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics to properly identify faults and complete repairs.
- Complete hydraulic repairs, replacements, and adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized service records for all equipment repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Work with team members to improve repair workflows, efficiency, and overall shop operations.
Job Requirements -
- At least three years of equipment repair or maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical diagrams used for troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to assess mechanical problems and determine effective solutions.
- Strong mechanical capabilities with comfort working alone or alongside a team.
- Diesel repair experience is highly valued.
- Must hold an active driver"s license.
- Experience in a dealership or multi-brand service shop environment is beneficial.
