About This Role

Our healthcare payer client urgently needs additional SIU (Special Investigations Unit) support to handle a heavy caseload of fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) investigations. The role is critical for maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations and ensuring claims integrity.

Pay Range: $50-60/hour W2 + benefits | 12-month project opportunity

What You Will Work On

Provide proactive detection, investigation, and reporting of FWA in compliance with state/federal regulations and in a fast-paced environment.

• SIU investigations or Compliance background (must have done the job before)
• Ability to prioritize and move cases forward with a sense of urgency
• Strong investigative fundamentals, including analysis and report writing
• Healthcare fraud experience strongly preferred (hospice, home health, skilled nursing, lab, oncology)
• Claims investigation experience required

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree required
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification or similar preferred
• Senior level experience who is able to provide a proactive
• Self-driven approach with consistent follow-through
• Need to operate with a high degree of independence.
