Responsibilities:

Peraton requires Requirements Analysts to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. Positions is located at Camp H.M. Smith, HI.


The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

The Requirements Analyst must be an excellent analytical thinker and problem solver, as well as effective communicator. The Requirements Analyst must have a broad understanding of and experience working with translating requirements into operational solutions. Since this position works closely with colleagues in other departments, strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Project management experience and a strong technical and functional knowledge of the Government's preferred Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions are a plus. The Requirements Analyst must also have a thorough understanding of the Government's processes. The Analyst shall perform its work in accordance with policies, procedures, regulations, directives, and industry best practices.

Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Identifying business and technical problems and developing corrective actions or improvements, ensuring solutions are technically sound and aligned with Enterprise capabilities and practices 
  • Analyzing and defining systems, functions, process and user needs 
  • Developing and designing technical solutions to meet unique operational requirements, leveraging a broad array of technical capabilities, tools, and services 
  • Developing and recommending policies and procedures to transition solutions from concept, through planning, to Operations 
  • Leading projects to update and modernize existing systems based on changes in operational need, policy, or organizational strategy 
  • Creating documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows, and user guides to enhance user acceptance and system integration 
  • Developing collaborative relationships with USSOCOM J6 Enterprise innovation and modernization elements (SOF Integration Facility, Test & Evaluation, and Service Modernization) and leading integration of new technologies and capabilities at the TSOC level
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • BS + 8 years of experience OR MS + 6 years of experience OR PHD with 3 years of experience OR HS with 12 years of experience OR AA with 10 years of experience
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance required

Highly Desired Qualifications:  

  • Background and certifications related to systems or network engineering 
  • ITIL Foundations OR Project+ OR Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certifications or Project Management Professional (PMP)

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
