Responsibilities Peraton requires Network Architects to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM. This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida.

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services.

The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. The SOF Integration Facility team is in search of an experienced and innovative Network Architect to support USSOCOM's network enterprise modernization initiatives.

We are seeking a proactive, meticulous, and highly motivated individual capable of facilitating complex design discussions and collaborating with other teams to integrate technology seamlessly. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, designing, and optimizing network solutions to ensure the availability, security, and performance of mission-critical applications.

This role requires a robust technical background, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and eager to grow within a dynamic IT modernization environment.

Performs Tier-4 network support in accordance with the SIE OPORD which requires an extensive background in networking technology. The Network Architect shall comprehensively review existing architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required.

This position shall troubleshoot the enterprise voice, video, cloud, and data networks and evaluate the impact of architectural changes on the network. The Network Architect shall follow designated network standards for the design, installation, and maintenance of LAN, WAN infrastructures, voice and data network systems, and advanced engineering.

Planning, designing, engineering, configuring, maintaining, defending, troubleshooting, and repairing the Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN)

Triage malware, LAN, WAN, VoIP infrastructures, voice and data network systems

Providing troubleshooting of enterprise WAN/MAN voice, data, and transmission networks and evaluating the effect of architectural changes on the network

Troubleshooting LAN voice and data networks and evaluate the effect of architectural changes on them

Assessing business and applications requirements for corporate data and voice networks

Planning, designing, and upgrading network installation projects

Establishing and maintaining backup, version-control and malware defense systems

Troubleshooting network architectures and recommending system fixes and enhancements

Making recommendations for leveraging network installations and reducing operational costs

Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Min 16 years with HS degree, 14 years with AS/AA degree, 12 years with BS/BA, 10 years with MS/MA, 7 years with a PHD

DoD TS/SCI clearance

DoD 8570 IAT II Certification

Experience with network operating systems (e.g., Cisco, Novell and Windows Server), network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, cabling and other essential network hardware), and LAN/WAN protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, MPLS)

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Desired qualifications:

CCIE CCDP CCNP Security CCNP Data Center CCNP Wireless CCNP Collaboration ACMP ACMX ACCP Cloud Networking (AWS and Azure)

Knowledge of wireless technology and mobility devices

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000

This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
