Job Details

The Site Manager serves as the on-site leader responsible for driving successful project execution from mobilization through completion. This role blends the responsibilities of a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Construction Manager, and field-based Project Manager. The ideal candidate can manage field operations, coordinate stakeholders, maintain schedules, solve problems proactively, and represent the company professionally with clients, subcontractors, and project partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all field operations from project startup through closeout
  • Maintain ownership of project schedules and drive milestone completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
  • Conduct site meetings and provide regular project updates
  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications
  • Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, ownership groups, architects, and engineers
  • Monitor quality control and maintain high workmanship standards
  • Manage project documentation, daily reporting, and field records
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle

Desired Qualifications

  • 7+ years of commercial construction experience in a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Construction Manager, Site Manager, or Project Manager role
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and subcontractors in the field
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, construction sequencing, and field coordination
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, design teams, and trade partners
  • Working knowledge of project documentation, budgeting, and construction technology platforms
  • Strong leadership presence with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • OSHA knowledge and commitment to jobsite safety best practices
  • Experience with ground-up construction, renovations, tenant improvements, or development projects is highly preferred
