This is a temp to perm position. Once converted to perm you will be eligible for the company's full benefits package. Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Must be able to successfully pass a background check, drug test and driver's report check. Responsibilities: • Place safety above all else, follows safe work practices and guide others • Solves unique challenges associated with one of the most sophisticated facilities in the industry • Lead a dynamic and motivated Operations team in a mode that makes challenging work fun. Participate in the training and development of associates into future company leaders • The project offers numerous opportunities to innovate and optimize • Analyzes operational process control procedures, maintenance procedures, and institutes changes when necessary to achieve full compliance with NPDES and air quality permits. • Assists with planning, organizing, and directing the operation, maintenance modification, and improvement of the Spokane County Regional Water Reclamation Facility (SCRWRF) Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED • 5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities, demonstrating career progression• Possession of a Group IV Washington state wastewater operator certificate, or the ability to obtain one within 1 year • Understanding of the technical aspects of wastewater treatment with all of the following: chemically enhanced primary treatment, biological nitrogen removal, membrane filtration, anaerobic digestion • Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills • Proficient use of computer software including but not limited to SCADA, HachWIMS, Maintenance Connection, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook • Possess a valid driver’s license
