Job description
- Promote safe handling & lifting operations referring to TOTAL HSE Policy (CR EP LSO 04 3), national and international standards.
- Refer to CPLO for critical lifts: participate to Risk Assessments.
- Approve and review "Generic lifting plans".
- Prepare, conduct training sessions on " handling and lifting" for SONILS and TEPA staff.
- Participate in handling and lifting audits (TEPA and Contractors sites).
- Report HIPO, incidents and anomalies.
- Involved in Cause Tree Analysis process after incidents, commit to Action plans follow-up.
- Supervise some lifting operation by him, or on SONILS request.
- Act as " Project Leader" when non-routine or Critical lift shave to be performed: collect data, interact with parties (SONILS, ship agent, Contractors, etc), integrate CPLO for Risk assessment.
- Advises the Base Manager on lifting equipment(cranes, fork lifts), CCUs (containers, baskets, racks) specifications.
- Assesses personnel competencies to carry out lifting or handling operations.
- Issue weekly and monthly activity reports.
- On sites(TEPA operated zones, Jetty), coaching of staff involved in lifting and handling operations and particularly Angolese (part of angolanisation process).
Profile
- Exhaustive knowledge of international lifting standards and best practices (ASME, FME, DIN, NSL, etc).
- Technical knowledge of lifting equipment found on logistic base (mobile cranes, gantry cranes, forklifts, slings, etc...).
- Ability to prepare and check risks assessments, lifting plans for standard lifts.
- 3 years' experience in Lifting trend.
- Experience in Oil & Gas industry is required (working in hazardous area, ATEX concept).
- Autonomy, Flexibility, Adaptability are mandatory (multicultural environment).
- HSE degrees and Certificate required.
- Crane and forklift operator certificate required.
- Language: fluent English and Portuguese, French is a plus.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) Good writing skills (issuance of reports, audits, synthesis).
