This opportunity is intended for Spring 2026 graduates, with the position starting in Summer 2026.ResponsibilitiesSupport engineering design for commercial, residential, and institutional land development projectsPerform site layout, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion/sediment control calculationsPrepare construction documents, plans, and technical specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3DAssist with local, state, and federal permitting processes (MDE, SHA, county-level agencies)Conduct site visits and prepare field observation and construction administration reports associated with Site DevelopmentCollaborate with team members to prepare project schedules and cost estimatesPreferredPrevious internship or work experience in civil/site design or land developmentFamiliarity with stormwater management and Storm Drain Computations and software (e.g., HydroCAD, Civil3D)Exposure to local permitting agencies or review processes in Maryland or the Mid-Atlantic regionQualificationsEducation and/or Skills Required:0-2 Years of experienceBachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited ProgramGeneral knowledge of required design software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit)Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Good communication and technical writing skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.Education And/or Work Experience PreferredPrevious internships or work experience in the Engineering field.Certificates, Licenses, And/or Registrations RequiredValid Driver's LicenseAbility to maintain required certifications.Certificates, Licenses, And/or Registrations PreferredEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certificationPre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
