HiFyve is hiring a Director of Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) in the Industrial Manufacturing industry in Wichita, KS!


Salary: $125k - $165k/year + 20% Bonus Eligibility (Tier 4)

About the Role

This newly created leadership role will build and lead the company’s SIOP function from the ground up. The ideal candidate is a classically trained SIOP professional with strong Lean knowledge, experience driving long-range operational planning, and a hands-on mentality to establish structure, processes, and alignment across the business.


Job Responsibilities

• Lead monthly SIOP cycle (Demand, Supply, Pre-SIOP, Executive)

• Develop and improve SIOP processes, tools, and reporting

• Build and manage 12–24 month demand forecasts with Sales and Finance

• Align production plans with capacity, labor, and equipment constraints

• Partner with procurement on raw materials and supply risk planning

• Establish inventory targets and improve turns while maintaining service levels

• Drive OTIF performance and safety stock strategies

• Provide executive dashboards and scenario modeling for business planning

• Build a professionally structured SIOP process from the ground up

• Drive 5-year, annual, monthly, and weekly operational planning strategies

• Champion Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field

• Experience with SIOP/S&OP and multi-channel distribution

• Strong ERP/MRP knowledge and advanced Excel skills

• Understanding of inventory, capacity planning, and financial alignment

• Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Manufacturing experience required

• MBA, CPIM, CSCP, or Lean/Six Sigma certifications a plus

• Experience building or significantly improving SIOP functions strongly preferred
