The Simulator Technician reports to the Lead Simulator Technician and is responsible for analyzing product implementations, modifications, and enhancements of F-35 Pilot Training Devices per customer specifications.
They troubleshoot technical issues, determine solutions, and recommend actions to customers and company teams. The role includes assessing product needs, conducting technical training, preparing devices for use, and acting as the on-site customer representative. Maintaining DoD 8570 Level IAT-II certification is required.
Other duties involve documenting operational problems, communicating effectively with team and customer personnel, managing multiple support activities, and maintaining technical documentation.
Desired skills include Security Plus certification, report writing, schematic interpretation, fault analysis, military aircraft experience, knowledge of CATIA & S/SEE, and Field Service experience.
Minimum requirements include an appropriate degree or equivalent experience, active secret clearance, ability to obtain SAP access, US citizenship, and compliance with nondiscrimination regulations.
