The Simulation Lab Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations and support of the Simulation Lab. This position involves planning, developing, programming, and running simulation scenarios for diverse academic programs, managing technical infrastructure, troubleshooting equipment, and operating high-fidelity healthcare mannequins. The role includes providing technical support, integrating simulations into education, ensuring safety compliance, and managing the procurement process within budget constraints. The specialist assumes the responsibility of database management for performance metrics, participation in professional development, and staying informed about emerging technologies like VR, AR, and AI are essential. The role also includes vendor negotiations, market research, and maintaining confidentiality. The Simulation Laboratory Specialist position involves conducting Simulation Lab tours and performing other related duties as assigned.Duties & Responsibilities
