Installer with experience of repairs lighted, monument/pylon, foundation. etc
Job Duties & Responsibilities include the following.
- Travels to installation site
- Seeking a motivated individual who has experience in LED, lighting & the ability to diagnose electrical issues. The ability to install channel letters, cabinet signs, pylon and monument signs and various other signs is needed. Applicant should have a clean drivers license (CDL & CRANE certification is a plus). Pay is based on experience & certifications/licenses.
- Climbs ladder or utilize crane truck to install sign when area is inaccessible from ground.
- Repairs, repaints, or replaces defective parts as required.
- Disposes of installation and other debris, leaving site cleaner than when crew arrived.
Checks signs for illumination, secures customer approval sign off; takes digital completion photos; logs installation time on installation order. - Cleans and maintains installation equipment and vehicles.
- Stocks trucks with installation supplies.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- CDL a plus for this position -Sign Installer with CDL preferred
- Some welding may be required
- Ability to operate a Jackhammer
- Use a cutting torch
- Mathematical skills in reading a tape measure
- Basic hand tools
- Written & Communication skills required
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in all weather condition
Education & Experience:
- Experience in construction
- Electrical – wiring experience a plus
3+ years experience in a related field.
