Hourly Rate: $53.60

What Youll Do

Provide high-quality care to critically ill ICU patients in a high-acuity unit
Monitor and manage post-operative cardiac, transplant, and general ICU patients
Administer medications, assist with invasive procedures, and utilize advanced monitoring equipment
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Respond effectively to emergent situations, potentially being part of emergency response teams
Document patient progress and updates accurately using Epic EMR system
Support patient recovery following surgeries such as CABG, valve replacements, and transplants

What You Need

Required:

Valid RN license in Louisiana or equivalent
ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification
ICU experience, preferably in SICU or CVICU settings
Epic EMR experience
Strong skills in post-op cardiac care, PA catheter management, and balloon pump care

Preferred:

Experience with transplant recovery, continuous renal replacement therapy, and emergency procedures
