No two days are exactly alike. One day you may be driving a scheduled shuttle route, the next you could be providing transportation for VIP guests or college and professional sports teams. Based out of our Tuxedo Road location in Hyattsville, MD, you'll safely operate company sedans, SUVs, and passenger vans throughout the surrounding area. Whether you're transporting passengers on a scheduled shuttle route, VIP customers, or college and professional sports teams, you'll play an important role in delivering the safe, reliable service Martz has been known for more than 100 years.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, punctual, and comfortable interacting with a wide range of passengers. Customer service is a must. The right person will demonstrate sound judgment, patience, discretion, and a positive attitude while representing the Martz brand with professionalism and pride.

A valid driver's license is required-no CDL is necessary-and applicants must be at least 21 years old, have held a valid driver's license for the past three consecutive years, and be able to pass the required pre-employment screening process. Paid training is provided.

Position Requirements

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely transport passengers on scheduled shuttle routes and VIP assignments, including airports, events, and designated pickup locations
• Assist passengers with luggage and personal belongings, ensuring safe and professional handling
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
• Report delays, accidents, vehicle issues, or customer concerns to dispatch or supervision
• Utilize GPS/navigation systems and company communication devices effectively
• Provide professional, courteous, and customer-focused service at all times
• Maintain passenger privacy and confidentiality
• Wear the required uniform and adhere to grooming standards in a clean, neat, and professional manner
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Maintain availability for assigned schedules, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by service needs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education

o High school diploma or equivalent

• Certificates, License, Registrations:

o Valid Driver's License - no CDL required

o Must have a valid driver's license for the past three consecutive years

• Job Experience

o Must be 21 years of age or older

Additional Skills

o Ability to adapt to changing schedules and assignments

o Basic vehicle knowledge and ability to identify/report maintenance concerns

o Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with passengers and trip details
