Job Title: Showroom Sales Associate (Grand Island)
Location: Grand Island, NE
Reports To: Branch Manager
Pay Range: $23.00 - $24.00 hrly, plus commission after 90 days
 
About the Role:
 
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Showroom Sales Associate to help customers create beautiful indoor and outdoor living spaces. This is not a traditional retail position. Our customers often invest thousands of dollars in fireplaces, outdoor furniture, grills, and outdoor living projects. Successful candidates enjoy building relationships, understanding customer needs, and guiding customers through important purchasing decisions.
 
Purpose & Expectations:
The Showroom Sales Associate serves as a trusted advisor, helping customers select premium products that fit their project goals, lifestyle, and budget. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, a consultative sales approach, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial consultation through final purchase. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Customer Service
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide product education and answer questions clearly.
  • Help customers select products that best meet their needs.
  • Build relationships to support repeat business and customer loyalty.
 
Sales & Product Knowledge
  • Promote current sales, promotions, and product bundles.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
  • Maintain knowledge of fireplaces, stone, casual furniture, grills, and outdoor living products.
 
Store Operations
  • Maintain an organized and clean sales floor.
  • Assist with merchandising, product placement, and showroom readiness.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Support team operations and assist other departments as needed.
 
Qualifications
 
  • Ability to work Saturdays with a day off during the week. 
  • Minimum 2 years of consultative sales experience selling premium products or services preferred.
  • Effective communication and people skills
  • Computer and data entry skills; Microsoft and CRM experience preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Motivated and purposeful with a strong interest in sales
  • Interest or knowledge in home improvement, outdoor furniture, and grills is a plus
