Job Overview
The Show Lighting & Special FX Operator controls lighting effects and visual cues during live shows and entertainment experiences. This role focuses on executing show cues and operating lighting systems during performances.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate lighting systems during live shows
• Execute lighting cues and effects at the correct moments
• Control spotlights, color effects, strobes, and visual elements
• Follow cue sheets and show timing precisely
• Coordinate with performers and show directors during performances
• Monitor lighting systems during shows and report technical issues
Requirements
• Experience operating lighting systems for live shows or events preferred
• Experience with Resolume Arena is highly preferred
• Experience with VJ software, DJ lighting systems, or live show lighting is a plus
• Ability to follow timing cues during live performances
• Reliable and attentive during show operation
Language Requirements
• English required
• Spanish is a strong plus
