About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at AMD Converting & Label in Waukesha, WI, as a Shop Worker specializing in Flexo Pressman, Router Operation, and Finishing Inspection. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills will contribute to creating high-quality signage and graphics.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality prints.
- Set up and operate CNC routers for precise cutting and shaping of materials.
- Perform finishing tasks including laminating, cutting, and assembling signage products.
- Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in the workplace.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or manufacturing is a plus.
- Previous experience operating flexo presses and CNC routers preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Basic computer skills for job tracking and reporting.
