The Shop Service Supervisor oversees shop operations, managing 10-20 technicians performing maintenance and repairs on power generation equipment, diesel engines, and trucks.
- They coordinate daily production activities, communicate repair progress, and ensure proper authorization and documentation for repairs.
- Provide technical guidance, review work orders, and ensure warranty and revenue repairs comply with guidelines.
- Supervise technicians, coaching, counseling, and supporting safety initiatives while fostering a positive work environment.
- Manage departmental budgets, assist in business development, and support long-term strategies.
- Maintain strong customer relations through effective communication and high service standards.
- Requires an Associates in Applied Science in Diesel Technology or related, 2-5 years of supervisory experience, excellent communication, leadership, and mechanical knowledge.
