Shop Manager

Aaron Services – Plumbing, Heating & Cooling
Suwanee, GA

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Enjoy a consistent daytime schedule with evenings and weekends generally free. This position is designed around a regular 40-hour work week. Occasionally, business needs may require staying past 3:30 PM to finish a task or support the team, but overtime is the exception rather than the rule.

Since 1978, Aaron Services has built a reputation for honest service, quality workmanship, and taking care of both our customers and our team. We're looking for a dependable, organized Shop Manager to help keep our plumbing & HVAC operations running efficiently.

This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining the readiness of our shop, inventory, equipment, fleet, and technician support operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring our technicians have the tools, materials, equipment, and vehicles they need to serve customers every day.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient shop and warehouse

  • Receive, verify, and stock inventory deliveries

  • Place inventory orders and maintain appropriate stock levels

  • Restock technician trucks with commonly used materials

  • Deliver parts and materials to technicians in the field when needed

  • Maintain company equipment, including inspections and check-in/check-out procedures

  • Coordinate routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs for company vehicles, equipment, and tools

  • Maintain accurate records for inventory, equipment, vehicle inspections, and maintenance

  • Help ensure company inventory, equipment, and vehicles are properly cared for and accounted for

  • Occasionally assist technicians in the field when an extra set of hands is needed

  • Help maintain company procedures related to inventory, equipment, fleet, and shop operations

Qualifications

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

  • Dependable and self-motivated

  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities

  • Confident and professional when holding others accountable to established company procedures

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude

  • Comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds and working both indoors and outdoors

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, warehouse operations, inventory management, equipment management, fleet coordination, or a related field is preferred. Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are important.
