Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and preparation of welding equipment for production tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Utilize various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc welding.
• Measure and cut materials using tape measures and other tools to precise specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including adherence to OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance welding skills.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10) is required.
• Basic knowledge of welding setups for production.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc welding is preferred.
• Proficient in tape measure reading and material measurement.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
