Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Shop Helper to support industrial production operations in Claremore, OK. This role assists across hydrostatic testing, finned tube bundle production, and CNC plasma fabrication while helping ensure materials meet cleanliness, dimensional, and structural standards before shipment or installation.

Required Experience & Skills

1 2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience REQUIRED
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and hydraulic tools
Comfortable working with compressed air systems and industrial equipment
Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in cleaning finned tubes using compressed air reverse airflow systems
Support fining machine setup, tube preparation, and bundle staging
Assist with plug replacement, tube re-rolling, header maintenance, and production rework
Inspect headers, plug seals, and bundle integrity under supervision
Assist CNC plasma operators with loading, clamping, and unloading steel plates
Stage and layout materials according to job specifications
Remove finished cut parts and scrap materials for welding or finishing
Support routine equipment checks including torch alignment, coolant levels, and operational readiness
Operate lifting aids and overhead cranes under supervision
Lift and move heavy bundles, tubing, and steel materials
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Follow all safety procedures including PPE requirements and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 50 lbs or more regularly
Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and perform physical labor for extended periods
Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment

Work Environment

Industrial manufacturing / fabrication environment
Exposure to compressed air systems, steel materials, plasma equipment, overhead cranes, heat, noise, and active production operations
Physically demanding role requiring heavy lifting, movement, repetitive tasks, and PPE compliance
