QUALIFICATIONS

Experience 
Prior mechanical, equipment maintenance, or technician experience required. 
Experience with heavy equipment or rental industry preferred. 
Leadership or shop foreman experience beneficial. 
Skills & Abilities 
Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and repair equipment. 
Ability to delegate tasks effectively (Foreman role). 
Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset. 
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. 
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced shop environment. 
Strong commitment to safety and compliance. 
Physical Requirements & Working Demands 
Lift 25–75 lbs. repetitively during a shift. 
Exposure to loud noise, dust, gas, fumes, and outdoor weather elements. 
Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing on and off heavy equipment. 
Regular handling and grasping of tools and parts. 
Ability to climb into and onto heavy machinery multiple times daily. 
Work performed in both indoor shop and outdoor yard environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment Service & Repair 
Service and repair company fleet to ensure safe and efficient operation. 
Perform ANSI inspections according to current ANSI guidelines. 
Conduct equipment inspections and document findings. 
Provide maintenance and repair services for customer-owned equipment. 
Assist and support other technicians in the shop or field as needed. 
Shop Foreman Responsibilities (If Applicable) 
Delegate repair tasks and responsibilities to technicians based on skills and workload. 
Oversee workflow to maximize efficiency and quality. 
Maintain ongoing awareness of fleet condition and tag equipment needing repair. 
Keep the Service Manager informed of fleet status and shop activities. 
Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and presentable for customers. 
Operational & Administrative Duties 
Keep accurate daily records of time spent on each machine using Work Orders. 
Support equipment loading, unloading, and delivery when needed. 
Run errands, obtain parts, or support shop operations as required. 
Perform welding or fabrication tasks when needed. 
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.

The Shop Foreman / Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on company and customer equipment in compliance with ANSI standards.
