Job Summary:
The Shipping Department Associate is responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, and shipping customer orders to ensure timely and damage-free delivery. This role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency and meeting daily production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick, pack, and ship outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
Verify order details, including product type, quantity, and shipping information
Prepare shipping labels and ensure all documentation is correct
Inspect products for quality and report any issues or damages
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed
Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Must be available for overtime as needed based on business demands
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Excellent attendance and reliability are critical for success in this role
Additional Requirements:
Consistent, dependable attendance is required. Repeated tardiness or absences may result in removal from the assignment.
