You'll make an impact by: Primary responsibilities include Receiving, Storage, Inventory management, Delivery to Customers and working closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Planning to support production while leading a team of 5-10 team members. Directly interfacing with Manufacturing lines, Project Managers, and Carriers on a daily basis in order to accommodate LTL and FTL requirements. Team's ability to process customer orders safely and effectively [large high dollar equipment] for shipment with contracted carriers. Handling team schedules and daily assignments. Understanding and execution of SAP-WM transactions to perform daily shipping and material movement operations. Managing shipping functions, yard management, and dock operations. You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in distribution, outbound shipping, and transportation management. High school Diploma or GED Proven leadership skills in warehouse and logistics operations with the ability to work with various levels in the organization. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply-chain management Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause and/or Continuous Improvement skills (APICS/CPM Accreditation) SAP experience Advanced Excel expertise.
