Hire Up Staffing is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist with a background in the mechanical or industrial field. This role supports warehouse operations, shipping logistics, and provides hands-on assistance to the shop floor when needed.
Pay - $20+ DOE
Shift- Monday-Friday 7am-330pm OT as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and process all inbound and outbound shipments
- Schedule freight and manage logistics to ensure timely delivery
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift
- Track shipments and resolve any shipping or delivery issues
- Communicate with internal teams regarding order status and timelines
- Perform local pickups and deliveries as needed
- Assist with basic mechanical tasks and support shop operations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- 2+ years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience in a mechanical or industrial environment
- Mechanical aptitude or prior hands-on/mechanic experience strongly preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
