Position Overview
The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations by managing incoming and outgoing shipments. This Shipping & Receiving Associate role involves material handling, inventory tracking, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal Shipping & Receiving Associate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced with warehouse equipment and processes.
Required Experience & Skills
Forklift experience required
Overhead crane experience required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
Prepare, package, and ship outgoing materials according to standards
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate and organized shipping and receiving paperwork
Enter and track inventory transactions
Stage, move, and store materials in designated areas
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial shipping/receiving
Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
