NOW HIRING: We are looking for a Shipping/Receiving Operator I to join our Circular Products team at our Sauk Rapids facility. The Shipping/Receiving Operator I is responsible for the identification of specific component parts and the preparation of products for shipment.

Title: Shipping/Receiving Operator I
Location: Sauk Rapids, MN
Salary Range: $22.95 - 27.00 per hour (non-exempt)
(In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.)
Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm

As a Shipping/Receiving Operator I, you will:

  • Uses a crane, hoist, forklift, or other material handling equipment to transport materials and products into and out of the work area as required
  • Packages, bands, or shrink-wraps products or loads
  • Efficiently loads and unloads finished products on trucks
  • Follows customer shipping specifications/standard work
  • Inspects of material handling equipment and lifting devices
  • Verifies/Counts parts moved to match paperwork for inventory accuracy
  • Maintains accurate inventory of shipping materials
  • Interprets blueprints, BOL, and other necessary documents to identify parts
  • Collaborates with other members of the shipping process
  • Utilizes ERP software to understand the status of jobs & materials moving through the manufacturing process
  • Inspects deliveries and accurately logs documentation 
  • Gathers/picks/assembles products on load lists
  • Puts product away in designated areas
  • Keeps area organized, maintains 5S Guidelines

Role Qualifications as a Shipping/Receiving Operator:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Skill of effective and appropriate verbal and written communication skills
  • Skill to accurately use tape measure and precision measuring devices
  • Computer literate; particularly in word processing, spreadsheet, email, shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications
  • Ability to perform basic shop math functions
  • Ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork 
  • Ability to electronically record production information
  • Ability to work independently using standardized practices and/or procedures and with others as part of a high-performance team
  • Adapt to changing work priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills

Physical Demands (Production Roles): 

This position requires the individual to wear and work in company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE). This position requires that the individual can lift a minimum of 50lbs. And, if applicable, can maneuver large, cumbersome equipment with the use of an overhead crane and/or forklift. Must be able to work in, on, or around equipment and machinery. The employee may need to perform work with the use of ladders.
