The Shipping Lead is responsible for coordinating daily packaging and shipping operations to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of products to customer locations. This role leads the shipping team and works closely with production, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure products are packaged according to company standards and customer expectations.
The Shipping Lead supports order fulfillment by monitoring shipment schedules, addressing issues that may impact delivery timelines, and maintaining accurate documentation and system updates. This position provides day-to-day work direction to shipping team members and partners with the Manager to support safety, performance, training, and operational execution.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate daily packaging and shipping activities to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
- Monitor daily shipment schedules and take action to recover when shipments fall behind plan.

- Demonstrated ability to guide, support, or train team members in a production or warehouse environment.
- Previous team lead, coordinator, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience coordinating shipments, packaging, or material flow in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience working in ERP systems; Infor experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles including 5S and waste elimination preferred.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required.
