Randstad is looking for a part-time shipping and receiving associate for a growing production company in Jacksonville. As a shipping and receiving associate you will be the primary handler of incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conditions of shipments.You will work approximately 30 hours per week.

salary: $18 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 2 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Shipping and logistics: Package, ship, and complete relevent paperwork for all shipments.
  • Receiving
  • Organizational skills: Efficiently plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
  • Attention to detail: Ensure accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other warehouse technology.
  • Problem-solving skills: Analyze issues and implement solutions to resolve operational challenges.
  • Communication skills: Effectively communicate with team members, other departments, and customers.
  • Physical ability: Ability to lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks in a warehouse environment
  • Meet and exceed productivity standards while working safely, adhering to quality standards, and policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and self; motivation working extended hours as needed.
The essential functions of this role include:

  • working in a smoke free environment
