HireLevel is hiring multiple Shipping / Receiving Clerks in Evansville, IN.
The Shipping / Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate receipt of incoming materials and the proper shipment of finished goods in accordance with company procedures. This role ensures inventory accuracy, compliance with quality and documentation requirements, and timely coordination with production, scheduling, quality assurance, and logistics partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Our client is a leading manufacturer of automotive adhesive and sealant solutions, headquartered in Evansville, Indiana. The company delivers high-performance products that support light weighting, NVH reduction, and bonding and finishing applications through a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Location: Evansville, IN
Shift: All Shifts
Pay: $15 - $22/hr.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare products for shipment and move materials to the shipping area
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Receive incoming materials and place stock in designated locations
- Verify shipments, packing lists, and required documentation
- Complete Bills of Lading, customs paperwork, and shipping certifications
- Apply correct labels, barcodes, and stencils to materials and finished goods
- Assemble, wrap, and band finished pallets
- Enter receiving and shipping transactions into SAP and scan materials in/out
- Notify Scheduling of low inventory or stock shortages
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance for audits, inspections, and approvals
- Maintain accurate paperwork and route documents to appropriate departments
- Follow FIFO inventory practices and lot control requirements
- Report damages, discrepancies, or problem conditions to management
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safety-compliant
- Communicate effectively with team members, drivers, and leadership
Required Training & Knowledge
- SAP system operation and SAP scanning
- Shipping and receiving documentation, including Bills of Lading and customs paperwork
- Inventory control, FIFO practices, and lot tracking
- Loading and unloading trucks safely
- Recognizing and reporting shipping or receiving discrepancies
- Verifying Certificates of Analysis (CoA) against Raw Material Inspection Sheets (RMIS)
- Identifying non-conforming materials and following documented control procedures

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs frequently and over 60 lbs occasionally
- Prolonged standing, walking, and movement throughout the facility
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing as required
- Fine motor skills and handling of large materials
- Ability to maintain visual focus and mental concentration
