Barbour Corp. is a private, family-owned manufacturing company located in Brockton, MA. We are looking to hire a full-time shipping/receiving clerk to assist with inbound and outbound shipments. You must be able to manage incoming deliveries, unload, check, and store inventory efficiently and accurately, and to make sure all inventory is accounted for. Candidates must have experience in a warehouse setting, be able to accept and process deliveries, and have experience driving a forklift. Reporting to Shipping Manager and Plant Manager. Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm Pay: \$18.00 - \$22.00 per hour based on experience Responsibilities: - Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies. - Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment of products. - Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments. - Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area. - Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately. - Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. - Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments. - Pulling, packing, and loading. - Daily cycle counts of raw materials, components and finished goods Requirements: - High school diploma/GED. - Previous warehouse experience. - Experience with UPS WorldShip and Fedex Ship Manager preferred - Forklift license (We will provide training/license testing) - Good written, communication, and organizational skills. - Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations - Good physical condition to lift and move heavy items - Physical dexterity, able to lift 50+ pounds, and experience operating forklifts. - Strong computer skills and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs. - Ability to communicate through Outlook email & Microsoft Teams - Basic math skills. - Strong sense of time organization and urgency. - Able to work independently and within a team. - Strong attendance and punctuality - Ability to scan and sort outgoing stock.
