· Packing, shipping, or warehouse experience
· Familiarity with anti-static device use and packaging controls
· Experience using DSS or comparable warehouse management systems
· United States citizenship requirement
· Valid driver’s license requirement
· Security clearance eligibility and maintenance when required by assignment
· Minimum three months general work experience demonstrating ability to perform position requirements
· Material handling equipment license eligibility within 30 days of selection
· Ability to follow MIL-STD-129N marking and labeling requirements
· Ability to read work instructions, specifications, and packaging requirements
· Basic computer skills for data entry and report completion
· Shipment packaging, labeling, and load preparation
· Vehicle loading support and shipment staging
· Basic inspection and examination procedures for material
· Specification and photograph review as required by DLA contract
· Material loading and unloading from skids, pallets, and stands
· Label preparation and application
· Basic report preparation and documentation support
· Tool and equipment operation in performance of duties
· Data entry and retrieval from DSS and other automated systems
· Material handling equipment operation as assigned and licensed
· Counts, weights, data recording, tag and label application
· Preventive maintenance adjustments to related equipment as authorized
Performs a range of duties supporting receipt, stow, and issue of material. Ensures items being stowed or shipped meet MIL-STD-129N marking and labeling requirements. Uses anti-static devices as required and receives daily assignments from the lead role
