Move Forward with VoltVolt is immediately hiring Bilingual Shipping Office Clerks in Fremont, CA.
As a Bilingual Shipping Office Clerk, you will be required to communicate with Vietnamese-speaking vendors and carriers. You will process PGI, RTV, RMA, and sale return shipments, as well as process international and domestic LTL and FTL materials shipments. You will also process domestic international shipments and book shipment on FedEx, UPS, DHL, XPO.
Meet all International ISPM15 requirements during packing prior to pickup schedule. Follow up with carriers regarding any inquiry needed, such as POD (Proof of Delivery). Communicate with carriers for BOLs (Bill of Lading), trucking info, and drivers info, and cross-check when drivers and trucks arrived on site.
Responsible for GPS devices in operating mode. Fully charge battery and assigns to each truckload accordingly. Inform carrier all GPS devices routes back to QMF once it reaches DCs (Distribution Centers). Prepare the pull lists based on PMCs (Private Motor Carriers) email regarding about outgoing shipments, and prepare the match lists for final cross-check before loading.
Provide any inquiring info needed from outbound load, such as GPS devices tracking number and shipment progress, to DCs personnel or Customers security team. Receive and process materials passed over from WH (Warehouse) per shipment requirement.
These are full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunities. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, plus overtime as needed.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year or more of related experience in shipping and receiving. Strong MS Excel skills are required. Ability to stand for duration of shift is necessary. Bilingual Vietnamese or Spanish is required due to communication with carriers and vendors. Be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug test.
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidates education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
