Overview Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Lead to oversee daily fulfillment operations within our warehouse. This role is responsible for coordinating order processing, supporting warehouse staff, and ensuring all shipments are completed accurately and on time in accordance with company standards. The ideal candidate has prior warehouse experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.Key Responsibilities Assign and prioritize orders for daily fulfillmentCommunicate with the order printing team to ensure all orders are printed accuratelyReview and resolve system errors preventing order printing (e.g., allocation or replenishment issues)Maintain clean and accurate order queuesTeam Leadership & Workflow Oversight Delegate orders and assign staff to appropriate stations for efficient operationsEnsure employees remain at their assigned stations; proactively provide materials, retrieve items, and resolve mispicksDirect, train, and organize staff to meet daily fulfillment goalsEnsure all orders are processed and packed according to company policyPerformance & Communication Identify operational issues, implement solutions, and provide constructive feedback to staffCommunicate daily updates, timelines, and expectations to leadershipProactively report potential delays, staffing needs, or overtime requirementsMaintain the goal of processing and shipping all orders received the same dayTraining & Staff Development Ensure all team members are properly trained in their daily responsibilitiesProvide ongoing coaching and support to improve team performanceShipping & Carrier Coordination Monitor carrier pickups and communicate delays to leadership in a timely mannerInventory & Operational Support Oversee daily return management and wholesale order processingEnsure workstations are fully stocked with necessary materialsCoordinate with the Warehouse Manager on supply needsCross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with internal teams to:Support daily and mass replenishment effortsCoordinate staffing for inventory receiving and inbound transfersReport technical issues, software needs, and equipment malfunctionsEnsure warehouse cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheldInventory Control Manage low-inventory processes, including transfers and replenishment coordinationPerform weekly cycle counts of low inventory itemsReport discrepancies promptly to leadershipQualifications Previous warehouse experience requiredLeadership or supervisory experience preferredCollege education preferred but not requiredStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentClear, professional, and respectful communication skillsBi-Lingual PreferredKey Attributes Punctual, dependable, and highly accountableStrong work ethic and commitment to team successAbility to lead by example and support staff effectivelyWillingness to work flexible hours, including arriving before staff and staying later as neededComfortable in a key-holder role with responsibility for opening/closing operationsWork Environment Fast-paced warehouse settingRequires standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift#J-18808-Ljbffr
