Shipping Group Leader

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Late morning start time 
• Assist in overseeing shipping personnel on shift
• Fill in for supervisor in his absence
• Palletizing stacks of trays
• Separating product by route
• Unloading product from incoming trucks
• Possible warehouse work
• Communicate and coordinate with producing plants
• Print worksheets, data entry, sending, printing, and replying to emails

 OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Assist other departments as needed.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
• Ability to read/write English (bilingual Spanish is a plus)
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Ability to push handcart
• Ability to ride forklift / standup rider (after training)
• Ability to follow all company safety policies

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Education:
• • High school diploma or GED required.

• Experience:
• • Minimum 6 month experience in warehouse setting preferred
