You support our team as Shipping Coordinator arrow_drop_down Responsibilitiesarrow_right The Shipping /Receiving Coordinator's primary responsibilities for the receiving, shipping and inventory control of the US product & warehouse ensuring that finished goods are received, stored, and loaded for outbound shipments. Other responsibilities include assisting the Petroleum Elastomer and Advance Thermoplastic shipping personnel when shipments as needed or directed by management and to provide backup support when workload requirements exist. In addition, all associates are responsible for maintaining adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices. Qualificationsarrow_right QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of MRP systems Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications Must have effective verbal and written communication skills Must be analytical to prioritize and understand shipping requirements Ability to lead and work within a deadline under pressure and handle interruptions Ability to lead and work effectively with other teams Must have effective organization and time management skills Ability to lift to 35 pounds repetitively High sense of urgency regarding backlog and fulfilling customer commitments Minimum of 2-year shipping/inventory experience in a manufacturing environment PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS: Proficient in the use of SAP Business by Design or higher High School Diploma A minimum of 3 years in a shipping leadership role in a manufacturing environment preferred Shipping experience preferred.
