Shipping Coordinator

A well?established steel service company in Zelienople, PA is hiring a Shipping Coordinator to support daily shipping, logistics, and documentation. Excellent long?term opportunity with strong benefits after probation.

LOCATION:  Zelienople, PA

PAY: $22–$25/hr (based on experience)

SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM

Job Duties

•             Create shipping documentation, pack lists, and bills of lading

•             Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments using TMS and logistics providers

•             Work with Production to ensure on?time shipping

•             Track shipments and verify delivery status

•             Maintain shipping records and respond to customer inquiries

•             Prepare and follow up on freight claims

•             Post daily shipping information in company database

•             Provide freight rates to Estimators and Inside Sales

•             Honor customer?specific shipping requirements

•             Perform additional duties as needed

 

Qualifications

•             High school diploma or GED preferred

•             1+ year shipping experience (steel service center preferred)

•             Experience with international shipping, customs, USMCA, AES, etc. a plus

•             Strong knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation

•             Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklift/crane as needed

•             Must pass background check and drug test
