Position Summary:
The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for organizing, documenting, and coordinating outgoing shipments. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely delivery of customer orders and will work closely with warehouse staff and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping paperwork (BOLs, packing slips, labels)
- Schedule pickups with carriers and coordinate outbound loads
- Verify shipment contents and ensure accuracy against orders
- Maintain shipping logs and records in system and on file
- Communicate with internal teams and customers on shipment status
- Assist with inventory and general warehouse tasks as needed
- Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work area
