Warehouse Management Systems experience detail orientation multi-tasking and accurate paperwork are critical to success in the role. Essential FunctionsUnderstands the general function of a warehouse management system WMS and can follow work instructions well. Ensure drivers are checked in timely and with professional communication.Communicates and works well with the Shipping team.Follows all safety procedures.Plans picking and processes orders in the Warehouse Management System expediently accurately and timely.Plans outbound loads and processes them in the Warehouse Management System expediently accurately and timely.Ensures product has been audited before loading and is loaded on the correct outbound load Ensures outbound loads meet optimal cube and weight requirements.Accurately and efficiently compiles outbound manifests and scans into the system.Communicates any potential shipping concerns to branches and works with them to resolve issues timely.Escalates issues Warehouse Management System problems and process opportunities to Assistant Branch Manager in a timely manner.Makes sure that low stockout of stock or other inventory related concerns are communicated to the Inventory Controller.Performs additional duties responsibilities and projects as assigned.Supports Distribution Center cleanliness organization and success. Education Experience and Skills RequiredMinimum 1-year similar experienceAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers employees vendors and buyers.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as ti x hi total cases per pallets and units per caseComputer LiterateEffective oral and written communication skills.Commitment to company values and strong customer orientation.Can use the general functions of a warehouse management system.
