Shipping Clerk

Location:Fort Worth, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Night Shift: 6pm to close

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping operations. This position is responsible for preparing shipment documentation, maintaining accurate records, coordinating workflow activities, and ensuring all shipping processes are completed efficiently and accurately.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment operators complete daily pre-shift inspections and maintain records according to company procedures.
• Process and maintain shipping, inventory, and operational paperwork.
• Assign doors, equipment, and resources to support efficient workflows.
• Generate manifests, billing documents, workload reports, and tracking paperwork.
• Prepare daily operational documents and reports.
• Maintain printers, labels, and other essential office supplies.
• Communicate inventory concerns and operational issues to supervisors.
• Enter data accurately into company systems.
• Complete end-of-day processing and required reporting.
• Submit nightly performance statements and documentation.
• Coordinate backup coverage for essential functions as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of office experience preferred.
• Shipping, logistics, warehouse, or inventory experience is a plus.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to remain composed and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
