First point of contact in the yard - directs customers and deliveries
Keeps track of ticketed materials, properly identifies vehicles and person, attains required legal documentation of customers
Assesses weigh materials inbound and outbound into process area, and prices tickets
Accurate identification of material to assign correct value
Provide customer service, ensures customers specs and contract requirements are fulfilled
Accurate record keeping of contract and deliveries
Assesses by grade accurate weight of material orders and issues supplies for visitors and customers entering the yard
Walk up customer service: driver's license or accurate documentation & back-up for materials sold
Assist in performing inventory on materials
Grading and inspecting in-bound loads of material; to include making deductions in loads that have excess such as dirt, trash, and/or plastic
Keeping records of incoming loads, specific materials, customers' specific materials
Sort, transport, pack, remove, and dispose of materials as regulated by law
Use various pieces of equipment to load trucks, our container loader, and a stationary shear
1-3 years of experience in a shipping or receiving environment preferred
Ability to proficiently perform all responsibilities of Shipping and Receiving. Assist in preparing shipping documentation and packing list Assist in filling work/shipping orders
Your Education: High School Diploma or GED required
