We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our cold storage facility team. This role is responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring timely and efficient handling ofgoods in a temperature-controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards.
  • Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movement and ensure real-time data accuracy.
  • Perform data entry tasks to update inventory systems and shipping logs.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cold storage area.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to safety and cold chain protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Computer savvy ; proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Excel, and email communication.
  • Experience using RF scanners in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Ability to work in cold storage conditions (refrigerated/freezer environments).
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in cold storage or food distribution environments.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or inventory management software.
Pay Details: $17.50 per hour
