Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced shipping and receiving specialist at our high-volume manufacturing plant in Summerdale, Alabama.
Responsibilities include:
- Review orders and work with production team to ensure all product is available.
- Prepare, package, label, and load outgoing orders
- Unload incoming trucks, inspect product, and verify packing slips
- Interact with our corporate team, and internal departments to ensure all orders are packaged and prepared correctly, and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct inventory counts, and keep warehouse organized
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain shipping logistics board and consistently review due dates for orders
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent dependability
- Forklift certified.
- At least 6 months of warehouse experience or relevant experience in a high volume manufacturing setting
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for long periods of time,
- Proficient with Microsoft computer programs such as Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
