Shipping and Receiving Clerk in San Antonio, TX 78218
Pay:
$16/hr

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- OT + weekends based on business needs
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices
- Unload, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations
- Prepare, pack, and ship outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
- Generate shipping labels and maintain shipping documentation
- Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups and deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience
- SAP experience is a plus
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification may be required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
