Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience required
• Experience with LTL, truckload, and small parcel shipping processes preferred
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and shipping software
• Valid driver's license required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport materials
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Receive incoming shipments and verify product accuracy
• Process shipments using computerized shipping and manifest systems
• Prepare Bills of Lading, packing slips, and shipping documentation
• Organize inventory and ensure proper product placement throughout the warehouse
• Perform cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies
• Repackage and relabel products as needed
• Load and unload LTL, truckload, parcel, and container shipments
• Operate pallet jacks, scanners, and other warehouse equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and organize products in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and production conditions as required.

What You Will Do

As a Shipping and Receiving Associate you will receive incoming shipments, inspect materials, prepare outbound orders, verify inventory, organize warehouse stock, complete shipping and receiving documentation, and help maintain accurate inventory records. You will safely move products throughout the warehouse while supporting efficient shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment operations.

The Shipping and Receiving Associate helps maintain the steady flow of products throughout warehouse operations by supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment activities. This position requires strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail.
