Background & Purpose of the Job
A Supervisor is appointed for the administrative zone and is in full charge of it, including Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and Accuracy. The Supervisor is responsible for everything that happens - or fails to happen - in his/her zone. The supervisor receives guidelines and daily instructions from the Shipping Administration manager and assigns the administrative workforce to accomplish these tasks.
Who You Are & What You'll Do:
Assignment of specific tasks to each employee
Scheduling and organizing work within the plan of the day
Reassignment of employees
Scheduling vacation and other absences from
Enforcing discipline
Communicating work-related information to assigned employees
Training and evaluating current and new employees
Keeping the department manager informed of problems
Ensuring that all paperwork is correctly filled out and schedules are updated with correct information
Ensuring that the generation and release of orders to the floor
Ensuring correct compliance labels are generated
Ensuring the department performs timely shipping, complete and scanning of Documents
Ensure 72-hour report is reviewed and addressed
Supporting the performance of the OSHA 18001 Safety System & ISO 14001 Environmental System
Ensure the department submits orders to customers for routine, liaises with carriers to schedule appointments
Gather data promptly to dispute and resolve customer chargeback

Salary Range: 60,000-65,000 commensurate with experience.
