Shipper and Receiver

Job Summary **
The Shipper and Receiver is responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility. This includes preparing shipments, verifying incoming deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring inventory is handled efficiently and safely.---Key Responsibilities
Shipping Duties:
o Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards.
o Coordinate with Office on shipping documents required for Customer such as taking pictures, weights and sizes of shipping containers/skids.
Receiving Duties:
o Unload incoming deliveries and verify contents against purchase orders.
o Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
o Label and store received items in designated inventory areas.
Inventory & Documentation:
o Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs.
o Ensure compliance with safety and handling procedures.
Communication & Coordination:
o Liaise with internal departments to resolve shipping/receiving issues.
---Qualifications
Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts or pallet jacks (certification is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.---

**Note: As we are a small fabrication business, Shipper and Receiver is a full-time job. Although shipping and receiving will be your main responsibility, you will be expected to work in other areas such as operating machines, fitter helper, maintenance, and etc. as we determine your personal skills.
