Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for the coordination, planning, and execution of management and operations to result in the efficient, safe, and cost-effective completion of ship repair and steel fabrication projects. The individual is responsible for performing specific tasks as described below, which are a part of the position.
Responsibilities
• Plan and coordinate with corporate management all aspects of the material acquisition, design, fabrication, and on-the-job steel operation. • Interface with engineers, designers, shop, and field personnel, and client representatives in all facets of managing projects. • Assist purchasing and design departments in materials procurement. • Prepare estimates and proposals for extra work requested by customers. • Promote safe construction practices and positive working relationships.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary is negotiable (85-125K). Bonus, relocation assistance, company vehicle, medical, dental, and retirement benefits are also provided.
