We’re looking for an energetic, dependable leader to join our team as a Shift Manager at Firehouse Subs.
This role is all about leading your crew during shifts, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering outstanding guest experiences — all while developing your leadership skills and working toward career growth within our brand.
What You’ll Do
Lead and support team members to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service
Ensure food quality, safety, cleanliness, and brand standards are consistently met
Train, motivate, and coach team members for peak performance
Manage shift scheduling, task delegation, and labor control
Handle guest concerns with professionalism and care
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and waste reduction
Support sales initiatives, upselling, and community outreach
Position Details
Workweek: 4–5 days per week (part-time or full-time hours)
Typical Shift: 6–10 hours, flexible scheduling
Job Type: Part-time or Full-Time | Hourly | Non-Exempt
Reports To: Assistant General Manager / General Manager
What We’re Looking For
Prior restaurant leadership experience (Shift Lead, Supervisor, or similar)
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation (SERV Safe preferred, or ability to obtain)
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
